WE ARE NOW RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:
PART-TIME INTEGRATION WORKER

To support and work in close collaboration with the Voluntary
Management Committee and the Project Coordinator to work with New
Communities living in South Longford to bring about community cohesion
and to ensure human rights and equality are being adhered to.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
* A qualification in Community Development / Social Justice/ Human
Rights or a relevant discipline;
* At least 2 years? paid experience of Community Development /
Family Support work;
* A good understanding of Community Development & Family Support
work in a community based setting;
* Preferably fluent in another language;
* Good understanding of other cultures and traditions
* Knowledge and understanding of the issues of poverty and social
exclusion and its impact on the local area;
* Passionate about human rights, equality and justice
* The ability to liaise with voluntary, community and statutory
agencies;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good leadership
and facilitation skills;
* Good computer skills;
* A full clean driver?s licence and access to transport is
essential;
* Demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic and the ability to work on own
initiative;
* Evening and occasional weekend work will be required.
